Hey all, I know these rods are relatively old. Research told me 2011 ish? I saw a 7’0 2 pc ML spinner on Facebook marketplace. The rod is IM-10 construction. Anyone still own these models of the crucial? Thanks

    Love the crucial, I have all 3 generations. The IM 10 gen 2 is my favorite, a little bit stiffer than gen 1 but very light weight. Gen 3 green blank is my least favorite but still better than Curado and lighter than Zodias.

    Agree, gen 2 is awesome. Personal best of several species on this rod. Always on deck. Been fishing it for years.

    Haha in my neck of the woods, Montreal. I think will go pick it up this evening.

    That's all my dad throws still.  He's upgraded reels a couple times but the rods are perfect for him (he's been doing it a LOOONG time and knows what he likes).  He gave me his spare cranking rod (7', 3/8-3/4, MH MF) and I use it.  Good rods.

    So the one I’m looking is a gen 2 then. It’s rated 1/16 - 5/16. I was thinking about it for neds. My mojo Bass 6’10 ML/XF is fine but I just wanted another option.

    Thanks! They’re pretty popular around here as they are always popping up on marketplace. Mostly casting rod but this is the first time I saw a 2 pc spinning

    Yes IM10 is gen 2, gen 1 is IM9. Let me know if you see any of gen 2 CRC-D611MA (casting)
