2 baits I've been blown away by....

Featured Replies

Hey y'all,

Been fishing alot these past couple weeks. I'm up in southern Ontario Canada so bass season has only been open for a few weeks now but I've used a couple baits that have just blown me away so I thought I'd share.

1) the new Bobby's perfect frog.

I have the scum, the megabass, the gavacho, Terminator you name it I think I have it. But this Bobby's perfect frog is on another level. I don't do anything to it other then trim the legs and it's phenomenal. Works anywhere and everywhere. Walks like a dream and so far is super durable. I really can't see needing anything else. I don't even bother worrying about a popper. Mainly cause I rarely fish a frog in open water. But man I cant tell you how good this frog is.

2) roboworm fat straight tail worm in oxblood red flake. I put this on a drop shot rig and holy crap literally everything eats it. Crappy, bluegill, perch, smallmouth and largemouth. It just straight out catches em! When nothing else worked, this produced. Highly recommend.

Try the Peoples Worm. Close in color without the red flake. Blood line is blue, not purple. Ran out of the Oxblood one day, tried the Peoples and fish hit it as well.

Thanks for the report ?.

It changes every year for me. Last year I never put down a Jerkbait, this year the swim jig is demanding attention.

I think you're just trying to get the bait monkey after us.   :wink7:

(it's sarcasm, meant in fun)
