I'm thinking about upgrading my TM to a 55 lb thrust, and I'm wondering what battery I should buy so that I can fish with it all day? Nothing too expensive, just needs to run for a solid 4-5 hours.

Go to your Wali-Mart and buy the Everstart Marine batteries.  They will run that all day long and its fairly cheap ($70ish).

I have the Everstart and Endura 55 on my Crawdad and it runs it all day and then some

x4  I have the Endura 55 w/ the wal-mart battery and never have an issue ever!

Have the same motor and battery..... Charge lasts all day, and have done a 12 hour overnight and no issues.

I have only ran out of juice once, it was a 8+ hour day and I was working through HEAVY weeds. 

Speaking of which, anyone who runs this series of motor do anything to make it more weedless?  My prop doesn't foul that much, just in real heavy cover the whole thing seems to just wrap weeds around the whole housing and shaft.
