I'm and unpegged Tex Rig user.  but headed to the Delta Saturday.  and there is grass galore.  might show the bass something new.  I do have a envelope of Tokyo Rigs in the right kayak pocket.    which one is more grass friendly?

The tokyo rig seems to get through grass better for me.  "Punches" pretty good too.

Try whatever you want, and if it works and catches fish, stick with it.

 

I would think that a free rig, light hook,  with a floating lure would be very effective and relatively snag free.  Z man stuff.
