Fall turnover

Featured Replies

So last week, Friday, September 30,  I went out night fishin to one of my favorite spots, the shore line was clear but you can tell the water is super cloudy as you go deeper. This place is deep and normally very clear.  I went back a week later during the day , Friday October 7th, water was clearing up but a lot of stuff floating in the water, still had a tint but you can still see bottom.

Did the lake turn over and is it worth fishin ?  It’s kind of a pain to get the boat to so that’s why I’m asking!

Don’t know the water temp, Feels chilly. I was fishing from shore. I don’t recall a smell. It’s a a 300 acre pond that’s 50 feet deep. I’ve honestly never seen it cloudy or stained.

Most likely the turnover if your haven't had heavy rain or wake boats.
