Best Jig Trailer?

Featured Replies

I've been throwing a lot of jigs this season.  I have been using a lot of Zoom trailers since many retailers have them and they are ok priced and have many different styles.  Does anyone have another kind of trailer that they really love or at least having good luck with.  I would like to be throwing something a little different from the next guy.  Thank you

Baby Brush hogs.. "yum" trailers.  And uncle josh's pork trailers

I use the BPS tripple ripple craw trailer.   I haven't really thrown jigs alot, but when i have the trailer does have alot of action.

Brush hog, Paca Craw, Horny toad-there really isn't a plastic you can't use as a trailer.

floating plastics are key IMO for jig trailers, so i use KGM custom baits shot craws most of the time. the fish just can't stand those claws standing straight up in their face.

90% of the time I use Uncle Josh's Phantom Craw trailer, but lately I've been experimenting with Hula Grubs, beaver craws, and all that good stuff. So far, I have more confidence with pork, and have caught more fish, but only time will tell.

I use hula grubs either with or without the jig skirt

Paca Craw chunks and Zoom Super Chunks are my personal favorite. A toothpick pushed across the front end and clipped off on both sides(resting behind the hook shank)seems to help these expensive little fellars hang on to catch another bass.Crowcommander

I want to try those Sabertail 3" baits as a trailer, they look awesome, and flap on the fall. Anyone tried them?
