Had to share with you guys!  check your local store as they are having some awesome sales right now.  some of the fishing stuff is on sale then clearanced 50% off the sale price.  I got a 40 lb minn kota foot control trolling motor for $104 regular $340!!! They also had 45# stick steer trolling motors that came with a battery charger for 89 bucks.... might be worth a trip

Where are you located?

Where are you located?  Here in Western NC, none of the Dicks have a sale like that.  It must be specific to your area.

I've found a lot of great sales in PA..  I havent really checked into the trolling motors and stuff but the hunting and fishin stuff is all 50%off clearance..

located in northeast mississippi...  i've seen other people talking about the sales they are getting on some lures and other things.  Dont know if it's specific to our area but there is a store called walls around here.  they have 50% off rods, reels and baits also.  if you have one of these near you check them out also.

The Peckers by my house has had their sale baits looted.

Must have been a Bait Monkey feeding frenzy when the sale started.

In the Richmond area we are having the Fishing Expo and the Green Top sale this weekend. Bass Pro Shops big sale will be in February. No idea when Gander Mountain will have their fishing sale.

But thanks for the post. Sincerely appreciate the heads up about the Peckers sale.  ;)

some of the reels left alot to be desired there.  but hey they are half off. i looked at a couple and was trying to talk them down to 75% off. but the big manager wasnt there to talk to.  if you looking at a reel just look it over carefully the ones i was trying to talk them out of were missing the spool tension knob.

anyone know how long these sales are gonna be on? i gonna try and go to the one in MD tomorrow. i only have one "good" rod and thats about 4 years old and i could use another rod of that type and then a rod for jigging would be nice. and i dont have a spinning set up at all haha

It's my understanding that the sales at Dick's ended on the 24th.

I've been to 2 different stores here in Maine and the sales are still goin. LC's, Rapala, Yum, SK's, etc. Got some great deals.

darn, well hopefully i'll be lucky and have some stuff at the local store. even though im goin for a rod or a reel, i need some other gear. im really trying to get into jig fishing and i need some more hooks, tungsten weights, and berkely craws. those things are my favorite plastics everrrrr. those and the strike king rage tail craws lol

got there tonight. nothin amazing like the original poster, but there were a few small sales. i was tempted to buy a berkley and abu garcia spinning combo. but with my small budget i stuck to the lures and hooks
