id settle for fishin anywhere aroun dfw. im sure i could find a ride that far. got a lil excited when i saw them biggins.

well if u go between now and august 3rd(when i head home to wv) id love to go. ill pitch in for costs. im stuck at sheppard afb with half my gear 3 of my rods and nowhere or anyone to "fish" with. looks like yall had a blast. thats what i was hopin for but all im gettin is fishin with shiners for hybrids. tell your boy chad them some nice bucket mouths.

fishin is fishin. its fun. but id go with a healthy 3- 3 and a half.

after a day of fishin hang out for a bit n shoot the breeze with the locals. ask them how they did. thats the simplest way to start a convo. when it comes to fishin we all love braggin. ask them the type of areas they fished n what they were usin. trust me if ur brain aint a steel vault WRITE it down when u get in ur car. before u know it youll have ur own encyclopedia of knowledge. from there its up to you with experience to start the trial and error. the parkin lot is ur best bet to learn about ur local fisheries and get some new fishin buddies.

yall do have some great fishin. i live in wv, in the eastern panhandle. i fish in the md bfn. so every yr i buy va non resident, md non resident/w tidal water, pa non resident, and finally a wv sportsman package. i dump a ton of change all around. as for pa's restrictions of fishin on the susky i think they need it now. from what i read they need to be doin a lot more to control other issues. its sad that its come to restrict our fishin before they restrict all the harm bein done to the susky. so were at a point where everyone needs to work together to bring back the smallies. take a short break on fishin so much and control the influences on the river. everyone wants to point at someone to blame. remember when ya point at someone u got 3 more of your own pointin right back at ya. so theres alot to blame. but like i said everyone needs to start workin together or the susky is gonna shrivel up into a lil ol trout stream. we have the same problem with wv game n fish mag. seems like its always trout on the cover. i dont trout fish, but some of my friends do. them trout taste good.

my wife has 6 of them. love them things. we put ours out on the table in the mornin with the milk and let the kids have at it. makes my life easy.

havent cuaght any on the potomac. fella i was fishin with once cuaght a few. we were goin for smallies aroun the brunswick area. i have cuaght walleye on deep creek. theres alot of walleye tournys up there. i have no clue if there opens or club or what. theres always a large turn out. but i wouldnt consider myself a walleye fisherman. ive been gungho about bass since that first one when i was 8 or 9. 20 yrs bassin, dont know if ill change. but id wouldnt mind goin walleye fishin.
