I would like to try the Revo Rocket Spinning reel for flukes, wacky rigs, neds, and drop shots, to pick up slack line and get the back back quicker. I have never owned an Abu spinning reel. I have and really like the President size 30, but I have heard the President 30 is closer to Shimano 25. Where does Abu fall with their sizing?

 

Anyone have this reel, do you like it?

Put two '0s' at the end and you got the size...Pflueger is the only one who has their own size-scale

So for the Abus

20s are 2000

30s are 3000

 

Personally - I like a smaller reel for finesse techniques - I'm actually running a 1000 for my Ned/DS rig but a 2500 for my wacky/flukes rig

thanks, I am putting them on a 6’9” light, 7’2” light, and a 7’2” medium…all Phenix M1 rods.
