Echomap uhd 93sv mount

Featured Replies

Any alternatives to the RAM mount universal D for a 9" screen.  I can't believe a mount is $130!

Where are you putting it?

Here's one

Still don't know where you're putting it. I put all my echomaps on a solid mount as so I don't have to do anything but disconnect the face plate of the unit.

+1.

I have the 93 OEM bail mount flush; no swivels or balls.

A lot of mounts go for well above $130!

Even going Amazon - my 'B' sized with 3" rise and mounting plate for my Striker 7cv cost me almost $80. I can believe the 'D' would go for more.

Whatever you do, don't give in to the temptation of a smaller mount than D size.  Rough water will bounce the screen around no matter how much you tighten it down.

I had my old HDS Gen3 9 on a C sized ram mount. As long as your boat isn't too rough of ride it would be just fine. Personally having ram mounts for the past 10 years or so, they were decent, but going forward I think I'll be looking at something a little more solid.
