The fishing gods have been blessing me recently with wealthy friends who want to upgrade their gear and sell their other stuff to me. 
 

What're everybody’s thoughts on the Shimano Tranx 200? I’ve got a heck of an offer to purchase one and am curious what everyone thinks as I’ve never fished one before.

I have 2 150s and they are silky smooth great casting reels

From a freshwater perspective aren't these silver curado 200ks?  I like the silver vs the black and green personally so this is a good thing.

Tranx are tanks. I don't know that I'd compare them to Curado's.  they are more heavy duty.  The two I have (200 & 300) have been fine performing reels.

They are the same platform with some small differences. Definitely the better saltwater reel of the two.  If it was a daiwa they would call it a coastal.
