I was looking at these 2 rods. I have a 50 percent off as a employee? Looking for a 7’2 ish  Med. Power.? Or the JM Signature Series? Any input?

    My experience with the 7’1” MF Platinum and the 7ft MHF Patriot tells me the Platinum is the better rod. Both feel like mediums, both are super light and comfortable in hand. The Patriot has a really soft tip and stout backbone, the platinum is stiffer all around and is a great weightless senko rod. Depends on what action you like really. Also the fit and finish is much better on the platinums

    I want it for spy baits and light top water like Floating minnows from Rapala or poppers.
