Kites R4 Skyfishing
I really don't think I have a need for $150 worth of stuff to get free shipping. Searches pull up tons of Amazon and Ebay stores, what are some different suppliers I should check out for skirts and maybe jig heads? Better separate? Fly tying shops? Thanks
PaulVE64
If you've had the materials in your hands before then by all means get them online. However I prefer to check my local fly shop.
JacobB006
What all do you plan on making? I have been ordering from Barlows Tackle lately and have been happy with the selection and stock. Pretty low shipping fee too if you dont want the $150 minimum for free shipping. Just bought a bunch of skirts from there. I believe they are having a sale on a bunch of jigheads right now as well. Super User Jig Man Posted August 19 Super User Share Posted August 19 Fishing skirts.com, Barlows, Janns Netcraft, Lure Parts on Line, just to name a few. There are guys on here who pour jigs. What type of heads, what weights and how many are you wanting? Are you wanting them painted or not?
Kites R4 Skyfishing
Thanks for the suggestions yall I'm happy with unpainted since they're cheaper, nail polish has been doing the trick for me perfectly fine. Type of heads? D. All of the above haha I think presently swim jigs and some kind of arky/skipping jig are top of list.. variety of weights.. I don't understand why there are jigs still made that aren't vertical tie or recessed. It just makes more sense. I can't pour jigs, no ventilation or space for it.
