its probably the same as all of the other walk the dog lures, but just because of that hump in the back i seemed to purchase it, cause it was slightly different then the other similar lures like that, dang baitmonkey has me really good lately  ;D,  saw it on a bill dance show and knew i was buying them eventually, anyhow anyone use this and had any luck?

yea i saw that on bill dance to, i probably woulda got one but i didnt see any at bass pro.

The sway back design is a japanese variant on the spook.  It's one of the reasons why the LC Sammy is such a great lure.

It isn't the hump in the back that makes the difference (that sits in the atmosphere),

it's the convexity of the belly. Both ends of the belly-line have a very slight upward sweep,

making it easier for the lure to pivot on its belly, which helps a walker to swap ends (sammy fame).

All the same, fishermen are notoriously slow to make important changes,

and in my opinion the swayback spook is a grossly overlooked lure.

Over the years Zara Spooks have had a slight swayback in them built in.  In the late 70's they used to have some lead tail weight in them which we used to drill out and then epoxy over the hole in order to get the spooks being produced during that time to walk properly.
