Functional Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 A few years back my glock 19 was stolen from my house and I've not replaced it. Cost for side cuts, stipple work etc prevented me from dishing out close to 1k again. PSA has their dagger line and I got sucked into their 4th of July sale and ordered a compact in gray with a ported barrel for under $400. I hate curved triggers on glocks so I or a polydat trigger shoe before I even got my dagger. Ripped the dagger apart and mirror polished all the trigger parts before even putting a round through it. Pleasantly surprised by it. It fits the hand better than a glock but still retains all the features that make glock glock. Accuracy was excellent, I'm easily the weak link but at 25yrds I kept a mag within 3". The rmr cut could be tighter compared to my jagerworks cut po7 slide but it's perfectly usable. Trigger was a smidge gritty out of the box but would smooth out with use, polishing it felt great after. All this to say if you are looking to try one go for it. I only have 300rds through it at this point but I'll be running it hard to see if it goes into CC rotation. Any of you have some builds with theirs? 3 Quote

Yup 25yrds/75ft. Sure your indoor isn't 15yrds? 15ft is really close. Realistically most engagements youd get in would be within 15ft though...I think the statistical average is within 3yrds. Quote

A little shorter than the length of my boat. I don’t even think the indoor range goes to 25 yards. I took my turkey shotgun there once with the intention to pattern it at 50 yards and they told me to go outside to the outdoor shooting area instead. Quote
Functional Posted July 27, 2023 Author Posted July 27, 2023 @gimruis that's crazy. The investment in lead control and air ventilation I didn't think it would be worth doing for a range that short. Any indoor I've been to has been 25yrds to 50yrds and one went out to 100. The 25yrds I shot this at was outdoors. My parents have 12 acres. Took a few shots at a 2/3 ipsc steel target at 100 and hit 2 out of 15. Ammo was crap though, aluminum case. 1 Quote
thunderblack Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 Nice gun for sure. I've looked at those a couple times but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Great deal and PSA makes a nice product. Quote
optimator Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 I’m pretty happy with mine. I got the complete frame and a stripped AR lower for $99 shipped. Then picked up the slide on sale for $179 iirc. 1 Quote
