Super User RoLo Posted October 27, 2006 Super User Posted October 27, 2006 Actually, fluorocarbon IS monofilament. Between Nylon monofilament, Copolymer monofilament and Fluorocarbon monofilament Fluorocarbon has the most memory, Copolymer is mid-road while Nylon has the least. PS: You'll never get a straight answer from the manufacturers or marketers. Roger Quote
Pa Angler Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Fluorocarbon has the most memory without question DO NOT use it on spinning gear YOU WILL have a slinky toy coming off your reel that's been my experiance. Braid has the least and the mono's - co-polymers vary from brand to brand although I have found that the Mccoy's co-polymer has the least memory of the mono's - co-polymer's. Chow Quote
