Looking to get another spinning rod and its between a dobyns fury 703 or the ark tharp medium meterman...which one would be the better finesse rod?? Ie..how do the ark rods fish..are they stout or softer than the dobyns

    I am not familiar with a Tharp Meterman. I have a 703c, which is technically labelled as a MH F, and I have an Ark Tharp Hammer, which is also labeled a MH F.

     

    The 703c fishes lighter than labelled while the Hammer fishes more like a normal MH F.

     

    Cant fully say from experience, but the M power Meterman may fish pretty close to the same as the 703c which in my opinion is like a light MH.

    The Ark will be faster, lighter, and more sensitive, with a much better quality blank, and guides.
