Ive got a grey Rapala folder ruler

I've got that one too.  I specifically use it for muskies, northern pike, and walleyes over 24 inches.  Really nice that it folds up and has a fold-up fence in the front for the snout of the fish.  You can see it in the photo below with the muskie tail pinched.

I use the white hawg trough for bass, panfish, and walleyes under 24 inches.  They lay nice in there, and rarely flop so I can take a photo while they are laying there.

I just got the plastic Ketch boards myself, which are accepted by kayak tournaments. They seem pretty well made, and I've been told they'll withstand almost anything besides being ran over with your truck or being shot at. I'm not going to run it over with my truck, but if I lose another potential 7+ pound bass, not withstanding bullets might be a problem.

I made my own with a 1X6 and a couple of screws. Just set the blade on my table saw at 1/8” deep and cut a line every inch out to 2’ . The only time I use it is when I’m fishing for dinner.
