What are the different years in the Curado? I am not familiar with the models that exist before the model D. I have noticed a couple of older looking ones that are green and one is almost a gold color. Any explanation would be greatly appreciated.

There are 4 year models, I don 't remember the exact year the first two appeared but I do remember how they look like.

The first Curado was silver/grayish a distinctive characteristic of the reel was that it had a flipping switch on the top of the reel,

The second Curado was black/grayish but it had a different shape and a distinctive red/orange stripe in the frame.

The third Curado appeared in late 1993 early 1994, the familiar chameleon green we were used to see for over a decade.

The fourth Curado is the one we see now.

The frame was red, the sideplates were black/grayish. It looked like it had a stripe from the front to the back.

The "almost gold" one you are talking was probably a Curado BSF. The SF stands for Super Free, it was basically an old curado with a ported spool and a metal braking knob.

I have an all red curado. I got it for the 1st chronarch that was recalled because of the spring in the flipping switch feature; the spring rested almost directly against the line on the spool. bothe reels had graphite side plates or bodies with an alu. frame.
