Anyone change out to larger/longer handles on the 70 side reels? How does it feel after the upgrade? Shimano knobs feel to small for me, so I'm thinking about going up in size with handle and knobs...

There are a lot of good knob swaps out there for Shimano A (handle knob designation).  

Ebay is showing a dearth, especially with SDS Custom shut down in Ukraine.  You might consider visiting "Express" website for cost-effective knob options.  

Hedgehog has a good diagram - if you have an inner plastic bushing (likely on Curado 70), it's easy to upgrade to a 725 ball bearing.  

I put larger Shimano handles and knobs in all my reels (yes, even the Daiwas) you can buy the larger ones here

Click on the menu and then parts. If you wan the really long ones and not to expensive get the Curado DC XG handle, its green but is long, has big knobs and will be cheap. They have made a huge difference as any other handle feels like a Zepco 33 handle.  

I did the Gomexus 105MM "feel" handle. Small investment and I like it a lot.
