Marvel
Currently I’m looking for a few discontinued lure molds from Do-It and came across similar molds from a brand called Ament. Does anyone here at BassResource have experience or knowledge of these Ament lead molds? Any feedback regarding the advantages & disadvantages would be greatly appreciated. I love to fish and only pour sporadically with my Do-It roundhead mold when the need arises to replenish my jig fishing tackle needs. Super User Jig Man Posted January 24 Super User Share Posted January 24 I don’t know about them but have a bunch of molds. What are you wanting?
Marvel
Looking for a weight forward spinner mold. Do-It has apparently discontinued their Erie-Dearie & minnow wt. fwd. molds or list the rights to sell them. And while I haven’t come across any old ones for sale, I have found a couple of Ament molds; some that look like the old Mepps Lusox spinners & rigs. Super User Munkin Posted January 25 Super User Share Posted January 25 Never heard of Ament molds? If the mold below is what you are looking for they shouldn't be hard to find. Regularly someone tries to sell me one and I don't know anything about that bait. Allen
Solution dopey Posted January 26 Solution Share Posted January 26 I let my Erie Dearie Style and Silver Buddy style molds go a long time ago and it took me time and money to get them back and I won't let them go again! they and the weight forward spinner molds show up on Ebay but you'll pay for them!! Put a search on ebay and they'll notify you when they pop up. Also check out all the bass boards and you might find them also. I've got a couple of Ament jig molds but being older molds you do a bit of trimming.
