Has anyone Fished the Basirisky??

Featured Replies

I haven't used it yet but I've read that it works well. Expensive though.

I couldn't pull the trigger on a soft bait costing that much.  I'll buy lucky crafts and megabass cranks all day, but 16 bucks for a hollow bodied frog was too much for even me.  I don't even want to pay $6-7 for a Spro Bronzeye...

They work GREAT.  I highly recommend them.

Yeah I've used them alot this year. They are a great bait for semi-matted areas. Sometimes when my wrist gets tired from working a regular frog bait like a SPRO all day I'll switch to a Basirisky. They are more of a "chuck and wind" bait so it's much easier on the wrist. I've had some minor problems with fish pulling off during the fight but not enough to quit using them.

Tried one a few times but no bites for me :-?.  Surprisingly, they come over and through lily pads very well ;).
