I don't thing  Shakespeare profit share will go down or Shimano will go up just because I like one company over the other.    That is the reason they make all difference kinds.  

The topic of the thread was General Opinion on Pflueger reel and my is low because of past experence.    That is my opinion and only mine.  

When something don't work like it should I will just sent it back and don't buy that brand again

I have had several great days with a cane pole and can of worms.  Not a Shimano , G Loomis or a LC in sight.   I hope to have several more.    Bud

but it just amazes me how people who have never even used a product can knock it.shimano makes great reels.i would never knock them without proof.i have owned shimano but prefer pflueger for various reasons.this doesn't mean i think shimano stinks.i think all manufacturers should be given the same consideration.

silstar doesnt own shakespeare. That doesn't mean they dont make the reels.  Look at specs, its pretty clear who makes them.

Im just a self proclaimed tackle mook I think it best to stop arguing over nonsense and take my Pflueger reel and go fishing and you guys can take your Shimano reels and go fishing BOTTOM LINE we are both gonna have some fun
