Good not too expensive line for dead sticking? (And maybe another question)

I have been using 20 pound braid for dead sticking a Senko around weed beds.

But its just about run out so I was wondering if I should use fluorocarbon or mono or something else if it'd be more efficient.

Oh and hey while I am at it what is better weightless dead sticking or a 1/8 ounce bullet weight dead sticking.

Thanks in advance!

Yozuri hybrid is strong for its rating because it is oversized. It's strength, while still good, isn't nearly as impressive when compared to other lines of the same diameter. Many companies understate the lb-test rating of their line so it will seem really strong to customers. Yozuri hybrid and Berkley big game both like to sell line rated as 15lb that actually fails much closer to 20lb.

I'm not saying anything bad about these lines, they are good. I'm just pointing out one of the first things I learned from bass resource that really changed how I look at fishing line.

^ I agree. That’s why you really have to compare lines of equal diameter. Just pointing out that if someone wants to use it that the pound test rating is very conservative and to go lighter than you would relative to other lines.

There are so many things that go into line choice as has been said, deadsticking is not one of them.  The only consideration I can see would be in ultra clear water you might not want to use braid.
