Anyone else the SC Mojo Bass 68MHF Casting rod?

Featured Replies

Cabela's/BPS has the old model for sale for $ 100.00/w a old rod trade in.  I was looking for an "all purpose" casting rod that would be easier to transport in my compact SUV.  Have any of you guys used one?  Thoughts?

No one?  I searched the site prior to asking this question.  Hasn't anyone used one?

I’m watching this one to get some feedback.   Was looking at the same rod to get my son.   I’ll just have to pick it up then and figure it out and let you know   :)

@MiceNReets, thanks for the reply.  I am a little surprised that no one has any experience with this rod on here.  I generally like the longer rods that most guys recommend but transporting a rod over 6'10" in my Forester is kind of a pain unless I put it in the front seat.

I've got the 6' 6" inch version.  Had it for about 4-5 years now.  Its done what its needed to do without any issues and I would buy another one.

I haul my rods/reels in my boat most of the time when I go fishing so I can't comment about transporting them in a car or SUV.

I had the old 6’6” MH and newer 6’8” version. Sc2 vs sc3 graphite but I liked both rods. Kinda wish I had stuck with shorter rods as that’s all I used to use but I fell into the longer rod thing and the rest is history.

It’s a nice all purpose rod, has a nice tip on it, I used mine for swim jigs.

I hear you on that.  End of last year and over the winter I have picked up a bunch of shorter rods in the 5’10 -6’10 length instead of my usual 7’3-7’5 lengths.   So much easier to transport
