has any one used cajun red line

yes,i think the red lightning stinks.it's basically a saltwater trolling line and is stiff as wire.i think the red cast is the best mono line i have ever used imho.i have not tried cajun advantage so i cannot comment on it.last year i used all braid.this year most of my rods are going back to cajun red cast.2 years ago  i used red cast and caught twice as many fish per my records as i did with straight braid this year.this kind of upset me because i love braid and how sensitive it is.

I have never used that line but I have heard lots of neg. things about it and that is why I haven't bought any.  I might try it if it was given to me but I will not go out to purchase any.

Power pro has come out with a Red line. I think in shallow weedy water the color will be a nonfactor for fish and I can see the line really well.

I've talked to some Salmon guys that run Dipsy Divers and they seem interested.

I think that I will find a place for Red Power Pro.

This doesn't make sense. You had red to a bait to attract gamefish because they think it's blood or whatever coming from the injured fish/bait. I'm assuming that means this red is very visible to the fish.

Then when it comes to fishing line, the object is usually to make the line INvisible in the water while working your bait back to the boat. So explain to me why you would use a visible color like red for your fishing line? I just don't understand this concept.

red only looks like blood in shallow water.as you go down it turns grey.since water has less light the deeper you go it starts to camoflage itself into the darker murkier water.this happens slower in clear water and faster in stained water.it doesn't dissapear it changes color and camoflages the line.it's the same concept as hunting with camo.the hunter didn't dissapear you just can't pick him out as easy.

Mono is transparent, allowing light to pass through it.

The hooks and red markings on baits are not transparent, hence the "bleeding" effect that is advertised.

SpeedBead your problem is making sence. In the whole world of making sence fishing is not it.

Most of these companys are following a fad if they get some customer they stick if not it will be blue line next year and I will have 1/2 spool for sale.
