For fluke fishing in HVY cover anything better than this for <$160?

Featured Replies

Based on a recommendation of a fellow member here for a MHF spinning rod for fishing flukes in heavy vegetation, found A Shimano Intenza 7'3" MHF on Ebay for $160 TMD which is within my budget. Anyone know of a better MHF rod for flukes and heavy cover than this rod? Ebay is the ONLY place with it currently in stock.

Major Craft Nanoace NAC-F31MH is excellent rod for $100 from Hook Up Tackle

XFast rod, 7’3” 1/4-3/4 oz lures, 10-20 lb line.

My last 5 rods have been MC. They punch way above their weight in terms of cost. I’m gonna buy the Days 6’9MH/RF next. The 2 piece ships from digitaka for $135. I have the 6’9M and the 7’ swimbait rod from that series and love them.

I greatly appreciate the rod suggestion especially from such a highly thought of and knowledgeable member such as yourself, but I believe that is a casting rod and I am in need of a MHF spinning rod.

I sincerely hope I am wrong as that would be a perfect spinning rod for an awesome price.

NAS-F31MH correct number for spinning rod. Flattery will get you everything😀.

The reason I recommended this spinning rod is I had a very similar model 7’ MH jig & worm rod and like it. Loaned the rod to someone who moved without returning it or I would still use it.
