Well boating accident just happened. Some dumb college students were speeding on the waters and rammed into me and my buddy. Lost my two prized rods. Will now be starting over again. Straight to the point looking for a rod that similar to the cumara and expride. Main technique is bottom contact/jigging. Heard a lot about ALX brand and Cashion, but I am willing to hear about other rod that come close to the cumara&expride line. Budget will be 130-250 range.

The Daiwa Tatula 7'3" Multi-Purpose MH/F is a dandy rod, especially for the money (about $150), and they make a 7'3" Tatula Elite Multi-Purpose MH/F for less than $200 with the same intent that is very nice.

 

You might be able to find an Expride that has been previously loved within your budget. 

Cashion rods are ok, but feel clunky compared to Expride rods. Why not just get an Expride?

I will maintain that at the $250 price point, the Falcon Cara is the best rod on the market and at $200 the Experts are fantastic also.  Not sure the length/power you're looking for, but for lighter jigs and texas rigs up to 3/8 lead weight the 7'2" Swim jig model is the best texas rig rod in the falcon lineup.  If you're 1/4-1/2 oz lead plus plastic then the 7'4" heavy cover jig is my choice.  If you're consistently 3/8-3/4 then you step up to the 7'3" Amistad.  I have all three rigged in the truck right now.

@waymont it because they don’t have the model I am trying to get. All of it is out of stock in the USA and JDM right now.

What model are you looking for?

I know you said new but you can get very good/mint condition used Poison Adrena in the price range.

I got one 6'10" spinning it was such great shape didn't hesitate to purchase  the 7'2 medium casting and it seems brand new.

@waymont sorry for late reply, forgot my account on here. I am looking at the 7’2 or 7’3 models in medium light range. Also forgive me on my noob skills on this site.

Something to think about, warranty. Had those rods been St Croix for example, they offer some nice warranties, currently 15 years on their higher end rods.  They will replace an accidentally broken rod, for a fee of course but a friend recently broke his Legend Tournament ($270) and they replaced it for $60.

Which Cumara? The red or black version? They were quite different. My entire arsenal is black Cumaras and I wouldn't trade them for any other rods past or present.
