Crescent Lake in Crescent City

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any tips on bass fishing Crescent Lake that’s located in Crescent City? Bank seems extremely shallow so it’s hard to get boat close enough to bank fish without bottoming out. Any tips are appreciated. Thank you.

I live near Crescent city, but on the St John’s side. I have never fished Cresent Lake but have Dunn’s creek, near St John’s, which is attached to the lake. A lot of lay downs and pads. 7” curly tail, watermelon pearl, and bubblegum senko style is all I ever caught anything on in Dunn’s creek.
I know it’s not Cresent lake but I hope this helps.
Maybe @N Florida Mike has fished it.

I only fish it a couple times a year for our club event.

Spring= shad spawn, white spinnerbait, white chatterbait amongst the standing cypress.

Summer= deeper water, bluegill areas, lipless crankbaits large worms.

I fished it only once , and that was primarily for bream. No bass, but it was the best day of bream fishing in my life!
