SE Mich. - anyone fishing until freeze?

Featured Replies

All you folks from SE Michigan - is anyone still fishing? I’ve been out on Walled lake a lot and want to hit other lakes in the area. Per usual, I plan to fish until it’s frozen. Canoe/kayaks - anyone care to get out there before it gets icy?

There were a lot of boats on Orchard lk. yesterday. I buttoned up my boat for the season saturday. I know a few guys that will fish into december....

The pike bite has been great everywhere we’re fishing. Incidentally I caught my PB largemouth a couple weeks ago. Going to try to make it into January, ice permitting.

i can't fish that cold.

Be careful out there, hypothermia is no joke deadly. Got a dry suit?

I'm still fishing.  I hung up the bass gear a few weeks ago, now it's steelhead time.  Nothing more surreal than a quiet morning with the snow flying waiting for that bobber to drop.
