24 CALCUTTA CONQUEST SE...

Featured Replies

Dang bait monkey is on me hard today! What are your thoughts on this reel, always wanted a round reel

but just can't decide since I already have few Bantam (18 and 22). 30 spool size good enough for 12LB sniper?

if it is then how much 12LB will it hold. Never own a 30-spool size before, 70 spool size is the smallest I own.

Thinking about pairing it with one of my PA 611M+ using mini max and some small swimbaits.

Thanks.

I just ordered one as well, should have it Monday.  I'm going to spool it with #1.5 YGK and run a Varivas 8lb fluorocarbon leader.  My plan is to run it on my Palms Egeria EFVC-53L+ and take it bushwhacking for big fish.

I have the current 101, 31 and BFS Conquest and they are all the same frame size with different spools and braking. They are smaller than you would think but are awesome little reels.

I use the 31HG I have for jerkbaits.  It took me a minute to warm up to this idea but it does a great job of casting a 110 jr and small cranks. It can also handle a regular 110 just fine. I have 10lb Seaguar Invizx on it and it will almost run out of line on a long cast with a 1/2oz 110.
