  1. Get a zillion or metanium both amazing reels
  2. Depending on size and weight. For light stuff and 3 or 4 inch minnows I have a steez 66 grey ghost with an airity for heavier stuff I have a edge epitome 725 with an ultegra
  3. I was able to get a dobyns Maverick 705c and 705cb for under 50 each. The 705c is a perfect cheaper junk fishing rod
  4. I love mine crazy smooth
  5. I made a cheap light weight combo with a handing m1 7'3" heavy two piece rod and a kastking verus baitcasting reel. Got them on sale for roughly 100 for the combo. I think it's roughly 9 or 10 ounces total
  6. On Amazon the handing m1 series is pre solid for sub $100 2 piece rods
  7. I picked up one too because I had a 20% off. So for under 20 bucks it cast great. It is not refined at all and could feel it flexing with a 5 pound northern pike. But for under 20 bucks I will let me nephews mess around with it.
  8. It's their cranking stick it says fast but it's a blended shaft so they guys saying it's too fast don't understand the meaning of that line of rods. I had their 7 11 heavy fast it was an amazing big squarebill and deep diving rod
  9. I like to move my walking baits quickly so I only use braid to keep my cadence. With mono it's just too slow to recover
  10. I picked up the 12# and 17#. The 17 is a significant more memory.
  11. If you want a short handle killer code is amazing but if you want a 7 foot rod tequila baccarat is solid then you can jump up to the sb 125 or megadog x
  12. Shimano has a MD scorpion in a 200 size. Very solid for cranking
  13. If you are going to get a daiwa try to get before they bump the prices up
  14. If you're bringing a one piece top water rod I would get a Megabass Valkyrie World Expedition VKC-66XH you don't want to be under gun for a life trip
