New jerk bait rod

Featured Replies

Megabass Destroyer P5 110 Stick after first season of with an Aldebaren 50 HG MGL with 9lb Shooter has been by far the best jerk bait outfit I have ever used. Caught several bass and walleye mostly on 110s and 110 Jr it’s a pleasure to fish and you don’t lose fish on this. It’s expensive but at 73 and carpal surgery it’s worth it to me.

Fished with mine for about 15 months now, easily the best jerkbait rod I've owned.

Run mine with an OG Steez and 12lb Daiwa J Flouro Hidden Concept.

Have you tried 110 plus 2s on yours or Pointer 110s

I haven't John.    I've read that the +2 really needs a different rod, although I'm sure it would work in a pinch.

I throw mainly 110s/+1, 110jrs/+1......Shimano World Minnow and Zumernvo?.......Jackall Rerange, and LC Staysees.   Throw the Stunna 112 as well.

Thanks and that’s what I thought. I have NRX plus in 842c and 843c and I bet one of those would work for 110 plus 2s

I won’t get into brand but I run a 7’ med moderate for 110’s and the same rod in med- hvy for the +2 and other deep jerkbait’s.

I have the exact same setup.  It is so lite it almost feels like a toy…a real joy to fish.
