Ontario Zone 20 early bass

Featured Replies

Anyone else chomping at the bit to get out on Lake Ontario / the St. Lawrence River for the early catch and release bass season?  We’ve got a brand new boat and my son and I are eager to go.  But this winter is a bad one, and it could be mid-April before we get out. 🙁

Yes I cant wait to get out.. Too much cold and ice this year so ice out will be mid April I'm guessing also...

@The Baron: I always enjoy your fishing trip reports, so MELT YOU STUPID ICE, MELT!

Closes on May 10th,  so that doesn't give us a lot of time.

Spring weather has been terrible.. Still too cold and windy to even get out for some zone 20 bass... Pike and walleye are open in the next few weeks at least.. That will hold me until bass opens in June...

Yeah, same here @MRQturbo.  Wet and windy, haven’t got out for Zone 20 bass. 👎🏻  Not much time left, hopefully at least one try.  Then hoping better conditions for pike opener. 🤞🏻
