NRX+ 904c mbr
It's my fav model in the nrx plus lineup that I own... I use it strictly for 4.8 Keitech swing fat impact on a 1/4 swimbait hook... Have used it for frogs also... Will be the 1st nrx plus that I want to get another one..

Sunline fc sniper vs shooter vs Seaguar Abrazx
I usually run 12 lb sniper for cranking duties... Up to 14lb if i need more abrasion resistance... Shooter is reserved for bottom contact only....

Photos: My AP 120 Setup
Nice setup... I love my ap120 too... Best fishing kayak... If it were only a little faster... Nothing an NK motor can't correct in the future...

Worm Rods
I've sold off all my p5s except for my xbites and 2 javelins.. 3 yr warranty is a deal breaker for me for such high end rods....

Worm Rods
Too vague to answer... Weightless or weighted plastics?... What range of weight, type of cover.... My two favourites would be megabass p5 xbites for weightless and nrx plus 893c for under 3/8 in light cover... Open water would be nrx plus 873c for 1/2oz and under.... 894c for above 1/2oz....

Baitcaster for smaller baits *no BFS*
You will spool yourself with 1/2oz on a pixy...every reel should handle that weight with ease...
-
What do you consider as the most comfy baitcaster to palm of all time?
Shimano core....
-
What pound P-Line Floroclear on your casting reel?
I'll run 12 to 14lb sunline sniper for cranking... 20 lb sunline shooter for bottom contact on my baitcasters...

Chemicals to Potect Tackle Boxes from UV Light?
I spray 303 on everything on my kayak... Keeps stuff from fading... Even put it on my PFD...
-
Shimano Poison Ultima or Glooomis NRX+
The warranty offered on the Ultima is enough for me to stay away.. No way I'm paying more for a rod that does not have the same warranty as g Loomis..
-
Go to baits always on the deck?
I like to be able to cover all throughout the water column and types of cover in general... Then have my confidence baits ready to go... Drop shot, crankbait, bladed jig, paddletail Keitech, spinnerbait and jig/t rig... Weather just makes me go heavier or lighter in weight...

Technique specific rods?
Once I discover the rod/reel combo I have is exactly how I prefer to use for a certain technique, it'll stay for that one purpose only.... If I can only bring a few rods, I have a few rods that are versatile enough to be used for multiple techniques... But I'm blessed to be able to own enough rod/reel setups to have them dedicated to be a one trick pony...

NRX+873CRR vs. 893c
873c in open water over hard cover... 893c in light cover... Both are very versatile rods...

Rod for Light T-Rigs and Jigs (3/16+ weight)
I use a p5 xbites with a metanium shallow spool edition for my weightless plastics.... I'll even throw a 1/5 ned rig on it.... Anything under 1/4 is doable....

How many miles do you go to fish?
I'm an hr drive from the nearest lakes.... 2.5 hrs one way is my max for a day trip...
-
when the fishing isn't ideal, are you listening to anything? music?
No music... Just nature and talking to myself...

Aliexpress
Ive never seen good deals on reels... Cheaper to buy them from Japan...

Composite Rods for bladed jigs
Expride b 7'2 MH glass is my rod of choice for chatterbaits...
-
G. Loomis GLX 873c BJR for chatterbaits?
883 bjr is my least favourite nrx plus model I own... Feels over loaded with a 1/2 Oz bladed jig N trailer... It's now delegated to spinnerbait duty... I prefer my expride b 7'2 MH glass for chatterbaits...

Sunline Siglon PE AMZ x8 50-60LB Reviews/Feedback
Terrible line... Try sunline fx2 instead... Much better braid...
-
Are you careful with your gear?
Yes... Hate scratches on my reels... Makes re selling gear so much easier and being able to get a good return on them after years of usage....
-
Do you mainly fish from the bank or boat?
I bought a fishing kayak so I didn't have to fish from shore any more.. Best decision I've ever made...

Keitech Easy Shiner
Megabass haze dong shads are a bit more durable than the smaller Keitechs...
