Broken rod question

Featured Replies

If you were "bassmoney poor" and you had a 100 dollar rod that was given to you 6'6" heavy, xtra fast action and you broke 4-5" off the tip :'( you would do what with this rod?

I would glue another tip on it and call it a a 6' 2" heavy, super extra fast rod and continue to fish with it. Who makes the rod? Maybe a warranty will replace it. Hope this helps.

Ronnie

Since your the second owner I doubt you will be able to return it and also depends on what brand it is.  More than likely I would start saving up for a new one.

Could make a good pool cue though I wouldn't want to break with it.   ;D

As Ronnie said, retip it and you've got one muscular short rod.

Could possably use for jig rod.  Welcome to the forum.

I was kinda going in toward a military type funeral for a fallen comrad, I'm X-Navy, but I think I like your Idea better, I could sure use some help from the Gods of fishing!
