Rod sock to fit over multiple rods at once?

Featured Replies

Anybody know of a rod sock/sleeve that can slide over multiple spinning rods at once?

i dont.  but i use the Rod Mule.  i think that is what it is called.

it holds all my rods when i get on my friends boat.   it has a sleeve that accepts all my rods in their individual rod-sleeves.   will that work?

Never heard of the Rod Mule.  Even carrying two rods is often too much when walking the bank.  My only complaint is the picture on Amazon shows the reels with no reel covers.  A no-no in my book.  All it took was messing up a pristine Chronarch 101A to make me keep covers on all my reels when not in use.

It’s system where it holds all the rods together, bound at both ends with a built in strap that you can sling over your shoulder to transport.

OP

I never heard of a rod sock that will hold 2 rods together.
2 pieces yes, but not 2 rods.

Seems like a gimmick to me

Yea that won’t work for your purposes

I don't use it for bank fishing, but I bought a couple "Extreme Rod Bag" carriers to use to transport my rods to Canada since we aren't using my boat this year.

They hold up to about 5 or 6 rods with reels on them. Rods can be up to 7 foot. It says up to 7.5ft, but I tried a couple 7'3" and they didn't fit.

I tried to copy a link to them, but if it doesn't work, search for "Extreme Rod Bag"

There are rod socks out there that cover the reel too.  Then you need a strap/caddy/rod mule.

https://rodprotech.com/rod-socks/rpt-left-hand-retrieve-c-pro-rod-sock-complete-protection/

These are completely custom for you (color, length, handedness, label) built in bait wraps and made in Florida.  And they float lol.

I've got their strap too and can carry 8 combos with it.  The handle is the only exposed part of the rod, no hooks nicking line or tangles.  They seem pricey but it's a neoprene sock, reel cover and bait wrap all in one and custom to your rod.  Those 3 components separately are about the cost of these anyway.
