Double frog rig

@RRocket. I use a River 2 Sea frog for Harry.  It has a wire tbat holds a rattle which I take off and tie the connector to then I put a compact frog for Charlie.  I used a popper for that on the first one.  The wire got boogered up and broke so used braid to tie them together on the next one but it tends to tangle on the cast.  I will get a stiff wire leader to do it right.  No reason for which frogs to use, just thought it would cast better with a big one in front and a small one in back.

Love to hear your ideas and results!

Got some wire leaders but they don't cast well, tangle on tbe cast same as connecting them with braid.  The first one I made used hardware wire and it was stiff so the frogs casted like one but it got boogered up after catching several bass and broke.  Need to find stiff leaders I think.

Made a different double frog rig out of a cannilblized A rig.  I call this one "Thunder 'n Lightning".  Yesterday I had caught several bass with it and then I gotta double!  Well kinda...a good bass slurped one of the frogs off the duckweed, when I set the hook it cracked like Hank Aaron hitting Number 715!

The braid was making music as I got the bass out of the weedbed.  Then the circus started when the reel popped off the rod!  Sometimes I think I'm the Don Knotts of bass fishing!  So the bass is swimming around the boat as I'm fumbling trying to get the reel back on the rod!  Finaly get things under control and work the fish to the net and there's two!  So I caught the first one and that bass trolled up the second one!  So I caught a double...kinda!
