For those using Yozuri Ultra Soft

Featured Replies

Just ordered 6lb for spinning tackle and 12lb for baitcaster.

I have been using Power Pro and in some cases using a fluro leader.

What can I expect from the yozuri?  Manageability is very important to me.  I hate dealing with nests.  I ordered the clear.  Is this fairly invisible?  How is the sensitivity?

thanks

Larry

The line is highly abrasive resistant and has virtually no memory in use. You will find it very managable and strong. However, on your baitcaster you will need to pay attention to kinks in your line if you have a severe backlash. I don't really know if the kinks impact the physical integrity of the line, but they bother me. I am not comfortable fishing what I consider to be a weak spot.

I went to BPS and then to Academy looking for Yo Zuri line last week-end.  Neither store carried it.  I guess I'll have to buy it off E-Bay.

Long Mike,

The Natural posted that basspro.com has the 1,000 yard spools for $6.88....which is close to retail price of the 275 yard spool. Great deal. just picked up one for myself.

Hybrid and Hybrid Ultra-Soft are available from Cabelas.

Hybrid is available from Bass Pro Shops, but I do believe they are clearing out their stock.
