Daiwa viento reel

Featured Replies

For all the users of the daiwa viento reel, how is the little plastic retrieve holding? Has anyone broken it yet?

I remember the name it is the twitching bar....man how could I forget, anyways I was wondering about the durability of it.

I have had no problems with the 2 I have.

I've had my Viento for a year and a half and never had a problem with it.  It is actually quite durable and it seems you would have to try and break it.  Very nice reel.

Definitely a cool looking reel.  I think i want one too.

Had mine almost 1 year with NO trouble at all...............Funny thing is..........I rarely use the twitchin bar........... ;D

I heard that the twitchin bar makes it easier to smoke a cig!!!!

I love mine, great casting and the twitching bar is great for any slow presentation.

i've had one for about 7 months.  i really like it cast great, smooth, and is comfortable in my hand.  i recommend it.

Bought mine recently and maybe have used it a dozen times so far and even caught a few hybrids with it. Great casting reel and smooth. If it doesn't break , it is a keeper.

I have one for six months now and I use it for my dropshot rig.  Have no problems so far, but have not been using the twitchin bar either.  ;D

I heard that the twitchin bar makes it easier to smoke a cig!!!!

An added bonus to a nice reel....... ;D ;D ;D

No problems with mine at all,  had it for about a year now and still looks like the day I got it. :)

Lately, I have been using the twitching bar more often in my dropshot presentations.  The more I use it, the more I like it.  Seems that it has more use than I originally thought.  ;D
