I use the flat eye arky mold with the BKK 9062 hook. You aren't bending it out. I've had to very slightly modify where the hook eye goes, because it's a 2x hook but it's way easy with a dremel. I have yet to even come close to bending the hook.

Pour with pins then glue in the weedguard after painting and tying the skirt on. That hook is just what I had a picture of handy. Normally I use a 4/0 Gamakatsu 694 hook for my jigs.
