Off to the pacific to put some into the freezer for spring.  The season closes until April.  Today is special because I have a new reel (from Tokyo) and a new rod (from Florida:)) to try and get slimy. 
 

Then….‘my secret lake got a deluge. Give it a week to settle and it’s big baits time for MissGreen.    I can’t wait!  Unless it snows.  Dry suit for sure. 
 

I have some magnum sized beavers to try.  Huge Tex-rigging.

Good fishin', @Darth-Baiter! It sounds like you'll be big fish fishing like @Dwight Hottle and young @WRB-2.0. When Tom grew old, he was happy with his BFS rigs for smaller bass. Of course, when you've caught 17, 18, and 19-pound bass, 99.999999999999999999999999999999% of the world's bass are smaller bass.
