Do you want to give it to him?

great question.  I dont know.

he is attached to a great boat.  he gets exclusive permission to sections of the river.

I think I might edit the section he wants and just send him the 20 seconds of data that he is looking for.    I dont have a YouTube channel.  haha...it is my only video on the tube, actually.

he has the used car salesman vibe. :D

I go with my gut in situations like this. Guy is giving off bad vibes and being pushy I'd just never talk to him again.

Interesting situation.  Most of the serious guides I worked around, wouldn’t even allow cell phones to be on during their trips.  Mapping apps and waypoints weren’t part of their fee.  Me personally, I could care less.

Ok, so there’s more to this story. Care to elaborate on the trip itself?

I'm with you. I'd appreciate hearing the details of this story and not piecemeal.

A few of my friends are guides. Many guides have prostaff deals.  If he's that good offer the footage for an order at his prices.  It'll cost him nothing he gets footage and you get a discount. Just a thought.  Guides do a lot of bartering so it is not outlandish to ask.
