Embedding Youtube Videos - Bug Resolved!

I know a lot of you were receiving a black screen with an error message whenever you tried to embed YouTube videos. As I previously stated, it was NOT a problem with the forums.

However, I was finally able to replicate it and then track it down. It turns out YouTube changed their code, which conflicted with a Cloudflare setting, resulting in the error. After extensive research, I created a new Cloudflare setting compatible with YouTube.

The problem is now resolved. The fix applies to all videos you embed moving forward AND retroactively to all videos you embedded previously that had the error.

By trade? More like by force! LOL!

It's out of necessity. I hand-coded the original site back when I launched it in 1996, then moved it to a dedicated server in 2001 where I then had to learn how to be a server admin (oh joy!).

Since then, I've gone through multiple CMS, CDN, and forum systems, plus all the upgrades AND many server migrations through the years. I've been managing the IT side of things for the site the entire time, just winging it as I go.
