Jigging raps…

Featured Replies

  • Super User

We have been catching shallow fish for several weeks but the weather has changed. We are in a cold period that looks like it will last a couple of weeks. The water temperature is sure to drop and I am expecting the fish to move deeper. Getting ready fot that i am going through my jigging spoons and assembling some knockoff jigging raps. The will be used in rocky and ledgy areas.

My question is for those of you who fish them do you cut off either or both of the end hooks or just leave them on.

I leave them on but I'm not fishing really snaggy areas or with with actual jigging raps. I get the KO's from Ali that are only a couple dollars each so not a big deal if I lose them. I leave the hooks on.
