Spinnerbait With Counter Rotating Blades

Featured Replies

I used this type of spinnerbait for the last few years on my big bass lake and it never failed to produce (when I used it). On my last trip there, a bowfin ended up with it and left me without it.

I need to replace it, but I don't remember who made it. I know Booyah makes one, but I know it wasn't one of theirs. Anyone know of another company that offers them. I know I could make my own from a twin blade spinnerbait, but I really liked that one and would like the same. I thought it was a Hart, but can't find it on their site.

The only one I know of was from the Pradco Outdoor Brand. Maybe it came out before Booyah was born. It might be a Bomber lure or a Cotton Cordell or a Heddon. Following...

I have a few, and yes they work well.

I have a couple of buzzbaits with counter rotating blades which I bought 2-3 years ago but don't remember the brand; my point being, if you can track down the buzzbaits, the same co. may make a spinnerbait.

I have two but dont know who made them. One of them I went ahead and transferred the blades to a hand poured lure because it caught enough fish and I didnt want the wire to break losing the blades. These lures may have been Excalbur.

Edited: Yep, mine are Excalibur.

Yes, I remember now. The ones I have are Excalibur, that is a Pradco brand or at least was.
