The Deep Dive App has satellite views that go back 30 days. We’ve received a ton of rain here over the past week or so with more coming tonight. I decided to check out Lake St. Clair and you can definitely see what all that rain has done.

Tools like this could save you a wasted trip or help plan ahead for tough conditions.

@Jig Man that is a very helpful tool. However, when it comes to watery clarity and say smallmouth, a satellite image is key. Waste level helps a tons and water clarity goes hand in hand but to see an image, ales all the difference.

If you look up Mark Zona’s video of Lake ST. Clair for instance. He ran into this exact same scenario. It was flooded and dirty. He

Hit a wall of mud and had to change on the fly and he hilled them! This is specific to St. Clair. It goes for any impoundment that relies on river flow. Or any lake that receives 3” + of rain over a week.
