Bass Pro's XPS glides for cheap baits that are still built pretty well. The swerve and the boss(which is basically a S waiver copy) are 9.99 to 19.99 apiece.

    Jointed Rebel or Rapala. The original swimbait. $6.99-$7.99.

    I also have a River2Sea S Waver and an Academy jointed bluegill bait, neither of which has ever produced a nibble. I have actually caught fish on the Rebel.
