?baitcaster cleaning and maintainin?

Featured Replies

I have a 2 quantum energy pts and will be using them in saltwater for a couple weeks and i was reading on the quantum website that you should remove the spool and soak it and then oil and greese a bunch of stuff.  The problem is i have no idea how to do pretty much anything with a baitcaster(taking it apart) so if anyone could help me out wiht pics or something that would be great.  Also i was looking for someone i could send them to for just a yearly clean and lube all that i saw someone on here a couple weeks ago but cannot find him now

THanks alot for all your help

I do this on the side as a hobby and to help other fishermen out. Very reasonable price for $10 per reel and quick turnaround. E-mail wilsons22@earthlink.net

Don't tear into them let a certified tech, like Reel Mech service them reels.  :)

He can make them sing!!  :)
