  1. yeah i took the old tip off now i just need to find the size i need all the local places around me are to crappy i want to get the same tip im just going to order it online so do i need to get the tip gauge thing ?
  2. ok well i just called shimano and the guy said cut it in half and send it in so i guess ill just do that the only question i have is are they going to like send it back and say the wont replace it becuase the tips not broken or anything the guide is just bent and cracked THIS LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY DOES NOT EXTEND TO OR COVER ANY DAMAGE TO THE ROD NOT RESULTING FROM A NON-CONFORMITY IN MATERIAL OR WORKMANSHIP; ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY MISUSE, ABUSE OR TAMPERING WITH THE ROD BY OTHER THAN NORMAL USE OF THE ROD; OR ANY NON-CONFORMITY OR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM REPAIRS PERFORMED OTHER THAN BY SHIMANO OR AN AUTHORIZED SHIMANO SERVICE PROVIDER i dont want them to send me back a cut in half rod

  4. Well the other day the tip on my crucial got all messsed up bent and the ceramic is junk what do i do
  5. Retiing is what i always do its easy and can save in the longrun

  8. I put my soft plastics all in plano 370 boxes so im better organized and some of the worms and tubes the tenticles are bent will they stay like this forever or once they hit water will they be good kinda worried here i have a bunch of stuff ? ? :-/

Well here in ne pa tomarrow is opening day for trout, i usally go to a frieds pond that is stocked bites are usually good till about 10 30 then they just shut off its weird happens every year, so i figured i might as well bring my bass stuff see if i can catch one, but its been so cold up here i dont know what to use i was thinking maybe a rattle trap and a finnes jig ?

I have a 2 quantum energy pts and will be using them in saltwater for a couple weeks and i was reading on the quantum website that you should remove the spool and soak it and then oil and greese a bunch of stuff. The problem is i have no idea how to do pretty much anything with a baitcaster(taking it apart) so if anyone could help me out wiht pics or something that would be great. Also i was looking for someone i could send them to for just a yearly clean and lube all that i saw someone on here a couple weeks ago but cannot find him now THanks alot for all your help

I know this isnt really related to bass fishing but i was looking into getting some doa 42 piece 3 inch shrimp kit for my next vacation in ft myers beach i was wonder if any one has used these on here and how productive they were, also the best way to work tthem for snook reds and trout thanks

  15. I just bought a shimano crucial 7' m crankbait rod with quantum energy pt casting set up and was wondering if anyone has used this rod before and how it performed. And why do they use the tc4 for the crankbait rods ? THanks

  18. I just bought a crucial today at cabelas. i got the 6'10" mh i didnt get to actually fish with it but it seems really nice and i think you will be hapyy with any one you get

  20. Ok well i wish i would have read this yesterday because i bought the quantum with the crucial 6'10" mh. lol But its a really nice reel casts nice and super smooth. Im going to be purchasing another in a few weeks and wonder if i should just stick with the same thing so i get used to it or get the shimano. O and thanks for all your posts
  21. Ok im new to this forum and so far it likes like its pretty helpful. Any way im 16 and love fishing whenever i can, tomarrow im goin to cabelas to get a new casting rod/ reel set up that iv been saving for. Im looking at either the quantum energy pt 6.3:1 or the shimano curado d 6.2:1 Shimano equipment has always been good to me, verry reliable ,and either a shimano crucial crankbait 7' medium or a 7' mh im going to be purchasing both of those rods but i only have enough for one set up tomarow.
